Top 3 Motivational Book of All Time
Today, I am writing my first blog about the "Motivational Book". One day i was attending a meeting with my friends and manager, where our manager has assigned us to read some motivational book. He assigned everyone to an individual book. Here are few list of amazing book list which you need to read all the time.
1. The Power of Positive Thinking:
"This book is written with the sole objective of helping the reader achieve a happy, satisfying, and worthwhile life." -- Norman Vincent Peale
This book has helped people around the world to achieve fulfillment in their lives through powerful message of faith and inspiration. There is a best quotes which inspire me more is:
"Action is a great restorer and builder of confidence. Inaction is not only the result, but the cause, of fear. Perhaps the action you take will be successful; perhaps different action or adjustments will have to follow. But any action is better than no action at all."
2. Don't Sweat the Small Stuff:
Richard Carlson is the author for this book. This is a book which shows that how the little things in our life makes us crazy. Richard Carlson reveals ways to calm down in the midst of your incredibly hurried, stress-filled life. You can learn to put things in perspective by making the small daily changes he suggests, including advice such as "Think of your problems as potential teachers;" Remember that when you die, your "in box won't be empty"; and "Do one thing at a time." You should also try to live in the present moment, let others have the glory at times, and lower your tolerance to stress.
3. Drive:
Drive is the 4th non-fiction book by Daniel H. Pink. It was published on 29-Dec-2009 by Riverhead Hardcover Publication. Daniel Pink has made a 140 character summary of what the book is about.
Best quote: "For artists, scientists, inventors, schoolchildren, and the rest of us, intrinsic motivation--the drive to do something because it is interesting, challenging, and absorbing--is essential for high levels of creativity."
Best Quotes: "Carrots & Sticks are so last Century. Drive says for 21st century work, we need to upgrade to autonomy, mastery and purpose."
